Millstone resident Tom Shock filed for Calhoun Commission Wednesday, according to Circuit Clerk Shelia Garretson.

Shock joins a field of three other Democrats seeking the post, including Larry Whited, Lynn Gilbert and Rick Sampson. Incumbent Republican David Barr is seeking re-election.

The first two people to file for three Board of Education openings filed yesterday, incumbent Carlene Frederick of Nobe and Donald Harris of Grantsville.

Two additional filings for the county Democratic Executive Committee are Bev Mullins of Chloe and Margie Evans of Arnoldsburg.

Filing deadline is Saturday, January 26 at midnight.
