An early morning accident at Fola in Clay County sent at least four miners to the hospital.

Mine Safety Communications Director, Jama Jarrett said the four coal miners were heading into the mine on a man-trip when a rock fell from the roof, breaking into pieces.

The company says the men were not seriously hurt.

Mine safety inspectors were expected to arrive at the mine today.
