SADDLE UP FOR ST. JUDE TRAIL RIDE HELD - Horse Gets A Treat At Mickey D's

Submitted by Kim Marcou A trail ride benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital was held April 18 at North Bend State Park in Ellenboro, West Virginia. The "Saddle Up for St. Jude," event was sponsored by, Shiloh Riding Club of Ellenboro, Cowboys for Christ of Winfield, WV, the Quarter Horse Association and Winfield Riding Club. Lots of people and 140 horses participated in the event that included, "chuck wagon" cowboy chow, and trail wagon rides. Vietnam Vet, Melvin Morrison (above) took his Tennessee Walker through the Ellenboro McDonald's drive-threw, where the horse was treated with carrots.
