MORE MOUTHWATERING MORELS HARVESTED

L-R - Roger and Jake Butler, of Ohio and Brian Burns of Rosedale, WV found 203 morel mushrooms at Nicut, Calhoun County. Since this harvest the group has found an additional 400 mushrooms between Nicut and Rosedale A 7 inch morel was picked by Tim Metheney in the Brannon holler up Little White Oak. C. Westfall of Parkersburg sent the photo above of a morel growing in its natural habitat at Wayne National Forest in Ohio. It's easy to see how difficult spotting the delicacies can be.
