FUNERAL SET FOR RITCHIE FIRE VICTIM

Funeral services are set Friday for a Harrisville man who tragically died in a fire last Saturday.

A funeral for Terry P. Echard, 57, of the Mellon Ridge Community, will be held at 2 p.m. at the Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, with the Rev. George Mackey officiating.

Interment will follow in the Log Church Cemetery, Cantwell, W.Va. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

He is survived by a daughter, Stacey Minor of Harrisville; a son, Eric Echard of Grantsville, W.Va.; brothers, Larry (Betty) Echard of Newark, N.Y., Denver (Beulah) Echard of Macfarlan, W.Va., and Randy (Shirley) Echard of Cairo (Cisco Community); sister, Shirley (Jon) Ayers of Harrisville (Mellon Ridge Community); half-brothers, Bashford Echard of Harrisville (Mellon Ridge Community), Robert Sidwell of Parkersburg, William Echard of Cairo, Robert Echard of Cairo and Doyle Echard of Harrisville (Mellon Ridge Community); grandchildren, Emmanuel Echard and Ashley Minor; caregiver, Nancy Hoffman of Lawford, W.Va.; and companion, Doris Greathouse of Harrisville.
