TWO INJURED WHEN TRUCK PLUNGES INTO DEEP RAVINE

Truck plunges into steep hollow on Spring Fork, injuring two

Deputy Sheriff J. D. Smith interviews driver of truck

Emergency services responded to narrow Spring Fork yesterday afternoon after a pick-up truck plunged into a deep ravine.

The driver of the truck was not seriously injured, but two passengers were taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System by Calhoun EMS and MHHS ambulances.

One of the passengers, not identified, suffered serious injuries and was transfered to a Charleston hospital.

The Grantsville VFD also responded to the scene.

Spring Fork is a remote rural road between Yellow
Creek and Lovada Rd. (Norman Ridge) to right
