SCHOOL BOARD WILL HEAR REPORTS THURSDAY

During Thursday's Calhoun School Board meeting, reports are to be given regarding Pleasant Hill Elementary School construction, the WV NCLB LEA Monitoring Report and stimulus funding for the county school system. Textbook approvals are listed on the agenda, in addition to approval of several administrative contracts, including Kathryn Nichols - Special Education Supervisor, Carla Taylor - Director of School Improvement, Lori Parsons - Title I Supervisor, Frank Tetrick - Director of Support Services, Patricia Riddle - Director of Finance, Karen Kirby - Principal, CMHS, Kelli Whytsell - Assistant Principal/Attendance Director, CMHS, Jeannie Wade - Assistant Principal, CMHS, and Bryan Sterns - Principal, AES. A Special Meeting is scheduled for April 21 at the board office regarding the 2009-2010 budget, with the regular board meeting for May scheduled on May 11.
