Glenville, WV - Five Calhoun County residents are completing their student teaching internships for Glenville State College.

Jeffrey Thomas Buck is student teaching in English at Edison Middle School with teacher Chasity Rice and at Parkersburg High School with teacher Joan Lemley. Dr. Gayle Burkowski and Suzanne Speelman are supervising Buck for GSC. Buck is the son of William and Jennie Buck of Parkersburg.

Rebecca Renee Williams is student teaching in Elementary Education and Early Education at Arnoldsburg Elementary School under cooperating teachers Paula Boggs and Angie Sims. Shelley Ratliff is Williams' GSC Supervisor. She is the daughter of Norma Freshour and Donald Williams of Grantsville.

Matthew Jacob Walker is student teaching in Physical Education at Pleasant Hill Elementary School with teacher Scott Golinskey and at Calhoun County High School with teacher Tim Davis. Janet Bailey and Tara Cosco are Walker's GSC supervisors. He is the son of Mike and Debbie Walker of Grantsville.

Natalie Jane White is student teaching in Mathematics at Calhoun Middle-High School with cooperating teachers Linda Shock and Amy Fitzwater. Dr. John Curran and Don Sheets are White's GSC supervisors. She is the daughter of David and Sheri White of Nobe, and Bill and Tammy Foster of Glenville.

Tyson Lee Price is completing his student teaching in Elementary Education at Sand Fork Elementary School with teacher Sharon Jones and in Multi-Categorical Special Education at Gilmer County High School with teacher Casey Smith. Tara Cosco is Price's GSC supervisor. He is the son of Don Price and Jo Moellendick of Grantsville.

Buck, Williams, Walker, White, and Price are scheduled to receive their degrees during the 135th Glenville State College Commencement Ceremony scheduled for May 9, 2009.

Three Gilmer County County residents are completing their student teaching internships for Glenville State College.

Natalie Jane White is student teaching in Mathematics at Calhoun Middle-High School with cooperating teachers Linda Shock and Amy Fitzwater. Dr. John Curran and Don Sheets are White's GSC supervisors. She is the daughter of David and Sheri White of Nobe, and Bill and Tammy Foster of Glenville.

Eric Michael Miller is completing his student teaching internship for Glenville State College in Physical Education at Normantown Elementary School and Troy Elementary School with teacher Diane Sharps and at Gilmer County High School under cooperating teachers Bucky Stewart and Joe Brannon. Dr. John Taylor and Janet Bailey are Miller's GSC supervisors. He is the son of Michael and Beth Miller of Buckhannon.

Philip Edward Wyant is completing his student teaching in Physical Education at Gilmer County High School with cooperating teachers Bucky Stewart and Joe Brannon and at Glenville Elementary School and Sand Fork Elementary School with teacher Bill Turner. Janet Bailey and Don Sheets are Wyant's GSC Supervisors. He is the son of Danny and Angie Wyant of Valley Bend.

White, Miller, and Wyant are scheduled to receive their degrees during the 135th Glenville State College Commencement Ceremony scheduled for May 9, 2009.
