TWO SMITHVILLE MEN ARRESTED BY FEDS ON COCAINE CHARGES

Five people have been arrested on federal drug-trafficking charges, including Joseph Beech of Smithville and George Sadie also of Smithville, according to the US Attorney's Office in Charleston.

They have have been arrested for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Also arrested, Isaiah Thomas of Zanesville, David Paul and Jeremy Green of Parkersburg.

The US Attorney said the investigation was conducted by the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force, the Washington County Sheriff's Department's major crimes unit, the Parkersburg Police Department, Wood County Sheriff's Department and the West Virginia State Police.
