KERBY YOUTH TO RETURN HOME - A Slow Recovery Is Expected

(01/18/2002)
Everett "Nicky" Kerby is expected to return to his home on Barnes Run, sometime next week, according to his mother, Kim Kerby. Nicky was critically injured in an automobile accident in Nashville Tennessee on January 4, 2002.

Although Nicky is improving he is still in a partial coma and seriously ill, his doctors at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, feel familiar surroundings will aid in his recovery. Nicky is still on life-aiding devices, and his recovery is expected to be slow, said his mother.

Mrs. Kerby said, "We encourage visitors, when Nicky arrives home, but ask that friends call before dropping by." The number is 354-6431. Those wishing to send cards and letters may mail them to Rt. 3 - Box 702 Arnoldsburg, WV 25234.

Nicky's parents, Warren "Bud" and Kim Kerby and family, express their deep gratitude to all who have prayed, sent cards, donated money for expenses and helped in any way during this time.
