A Grantsville man, John M. Richards, 37, is facing multiple charges for an
incident at a Spencer coin-operated laundry on December 6. Police said
Richards entered the business and ordered a lone female to sit in a chair,
after which he exposed himself, made sexual comments and masturbated
himself.
Richards was identified from a composite drawing provided by the victim.
She later identified the man in a line-up.
Richards is in North Central Regional Jail in Doddridge County on charges
brought against him in Wood County, a six-month sentence for indecent
exposure and fleeing. That sentence was handed down one day before the
current warrant was issued.
