CLENDENIN CHURCH SHOT FULL OF HOLES - Members of the Thorofare Community Church were shocked to find at least a dozen bullet holes in their church building yesterday.

Pastor Claude Holley said there was considerable damage inside the building. Bullets shattered the front door glass, put holes in the cinder block walls of the building and even damaged pews.

Parishioners counted at least fifteen bullet holes.

RANDOLPH MAN SUICIDE - Randolph County Sheriff Deputies are looking into why a 20-year-old man shot himself during a breaking and entering.

Deputies went to check on a cabin on Faulkner Run Road Tuesday and heard a man in a back room and called out to him.

Then they heard a gunshot.

The man's body was found with a 15-year-old girl, unharmed. She had a missing person's report filed on her about a month ago.

The man had a warrant out for his arrest.

CROOKED CREEK INCIDENT — A reported domestic incident that turned ugly landed two men in jail.

Clark Williamson, 56, of Peach Creek, Logan County was arrested by West Virginia State Police for discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, obstructing an officer and violation of a domestic violence petition.

Charles Duane Williamson, 37, was arrested by the WVSP for obstructing an officer and assault on an officer.
