Frances N. Lee, 82, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, in Roane General Hospital, Spencer. She was born May 4, 1926, in Roane County, a daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Hazel Oleta Midcap Brannon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brandi Lee Fiel; and a brother, Robert Brannon. Survivors include her husband, Carl Lee of Spencer; a daughter, Joan Fields of Orlando, FL; sons, David Lee and Rodney Lee both of Ft. Myers, FL; sisters, Lillie Josephine Ash of Barberton, OH, Mary Abbott of Woodbine, GA and Thelma Mae Brannon of Spencer; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 14 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Emzy Ashby officiating. Burial will be in the Swank Cemetery, Speed Road, Spencer. Friends may call Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
