Blaine King and I drove to Summersville to the Skin Care Office for his check up and he's is doing well. After his appointment we went to visit with Heather, Lea, and Ruby. We had a wonderful visit. The babies are doing very well. Heather has spring flowers coming up. It's a nice place there on Grassy Creek Road. Temperatures are ten degrees colder there in the forest it was a refreshing visit.

Blaine and I ran into a little trouble getting back home. His car just quit at the Big Otter Exxon But everything was resolved and he now has another car. It's a 2005 PT Cruiser convertible. It's a nice car. Derail and Larry who work at the station were nice and understanding of our dilemma. Exxon does a lot of business being open 24 hrs. a day.

While we were stranded there for a time we saw people that we knew. Blaine was able to talk to Naomi Matheny who's father married Blaine and Ressie King in Canvas, WV. Wouldn't you know that they were related. Seems that we are all related here. It's a small world.

Lisa Bennett offered us a ride home from Big Otter but we were waiting on Blaine's friend Ben to come and get us. My daughter Heather went to grade school with Lisa.

Dick Jarvis plowed my garden while I was visiting with the girls. It's sure helps cabin fever to see fresh dirt and spring flowers coming up.

The State Road is working on our roads here in Calhoun clearing out the ditches before the spring rains. I appreciate them and wish they could have run the big plow down my driveway.

March is so true. I think of it as Nature's Broom. It works great. Good time to get rid of dead plants. Just pull them up and let the wind blow them away.

Love the moon and the earth.

Everyone have a wonderful week!
