Lottie D. Clouser, 73, of Akron, Ohio, passed away March 8, 2009 at Essex Health Care. She was born January 11, 1936 in Chloe, West Virginia to the late Ora and Gertrude (Lamb) Groggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Christopher and David Clouser; brothers, Bob and Paul Groggs; sister, Sue Mullins and an infant sister; and stepmother, Vola Groggs. She is survived by her husband, David C. Clouser; daughters, Barbara (JR) Thompson of Canal Fulton, Ohio, Patty (Mitchell) Moore of Stinson, WV and Angela (Danny) Scott of Chloe; son, David A. Clouser of Akron; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren with one on the way; sisters, Loretta (Leo) Gray of Elyria, OH, Norma Nicholas and Jean (Habert) Siers; brothers, Ted (Charlotte) Groggs of Stow, OH, Bud (Alma) Groggs of Medina, OH, Frank (Imogene) Groggs, Bill (Debbie) Groggs and Michael (Pam) Groggs. "We love you, Mom and Mamaw." Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Neal Brock officiating. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lottie to Essex Health Care, 563 Colony Parkway, Tallmadge, Ohio 44278.
