| Joseph Casmer King, 66, of Gluck Run Community, Glenville, West Virginia, went to be with the Lord Friday, February, 27, 2009 at home following an extended illness.
He was born June 17, 1942 at Marietta, Ohio, a son of the late Duffy and Lulah Lang King.
Joseph was retired and was a US Army veteran. He loved animals and was an avid outdoorsman and gardener. He was active in the Otterbein United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Lulah, their daughter Crystal Hixon, and granddaughter, Jessica all of Glenville; a daughter Pontia Jones and husband Lawrence of Ohio; sons, Robert and granddaughter Kala, and Jason and wife Vickie all of Florida; three brothers, Frank Robert of Glenville, Theron Todd of Oklahoma, and Marvin Grey of Ohio; one sister, Roberta Taylor of Ohio.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Clinton Fossett.
Joseph was cremated at his request and a memorial service will be held at a later date for family and friends.
