Two federal prison employees who work in West Virginia have pleaded guilty to bribery charges.

The U.S. Attorney's Office announced Wednesday that Carol Jarvis, 41, of Normantown, a teacher employed at the Federal Correctional Institution in Gilmer County, pleaded guilty to selling tobacco to an inmate in November 2005.

Another corrections officer William E. Brantner, 24, admitted receiving money from an inmate at the U.S. Penitentiary at Hazelton in Preston County in return for heroin, marijuana, tobacco and a cell phone in March 2008.
