PUTNAM WOMAN SHOT TO DEATH - A woman was killed and two men, including the suspect, ended up in the hospital after a shooting in the Red House area of Putnam County. Angela Dawn Casto, 20, was shot dead, said Putnam County Sheriff Mark Smith. Police found the woman who was pronounced dead at the scene, and Nicholas Lyle Hanshaw, 24, who was shot in the leg. Hanshaw, the owner of the house, was taken to CAMC General Hospital. Police arrested Jesse Cossin, 20, of Red House, after tracking him down in the area. The sheriff said the suspect will be arraigned in Kanawha County on first-degree murder and malicious wounding charges. TV CAM BROADCAST CATCHES CROOKS - Police in Hurricane say they arrested two suspects in an armed robbery after a surveillance video was shown on local newscasts. The robbery happened at an Exxon just off the Hurricane exit on I-64. Dustin Ryan Fitzgerald and Christopher John Weddington, both 18- years-old and from the Hurricane area, are charged with armed robbery. Hurricane Police say the two walked into the gas station and demanded cash, one was carrying a shotgun. Fitzgerald and Weddington are in the Western Regional Jail.
