SNOW FALLS ON COUNTY: Minor Rt. 16 Crash Sunday, Two Injured In Walnut Rd. Accident

Saturday night snow has created some road problems in the county, 4 to 6 inches falling.

Some snow will continue to fall Sunday.

Emergency services responded to a vehicle accident on Walnut Road Saturday evening at 6 p.m. before the snow.

The vehicle rolled-over in a field, reportedly causing some injury to the driver and a passenger.

Calhoun EMS took the injured parties to Roane General Hospital.

The Upper West Fork VFD responded to the scene.

Deputy J. D. Smith of the Calhoun Sheriff's Department investigated.

Sunday morning at 8 a.m. Calhoun EMS responded to a car wreck two miles south of Chloe on Rt. 16, where a vehicle went out of control landing in the ditch.

No injuries reported.

Upper West Fork VFD also responded.
