Delmas R. Richards, 86, of Parkersburg, WV died January 8, 2002, at his
home after a long illness.
He was born in Grantsville, a son of the late Loman and Trina Jones Richards. He
retired in 1983 from Montgomery Wards, enjoyed woodworking and was a
Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Corinne Stalnaker Richards; one son,
Steven L. Richards and his wife, Terri of Washington, WV; one daughter,
Linda Peuser Tewksbury and her husband, Ralph of Parkersburg; three
grandchildren, Phillip Peuser of Marietta, Jennifer Peuser Bell and her husband,
Jaime of Belpre, Ohio and Matthew Richards of Washington, WV; one
great-granddaughter, Jordan Bell of Belpre; one sister, Pearl Blair of Pittsburgh,
PA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home of
Parkersburg. Pastor Todd Hill will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet
Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. today.
