Maysel Marie Lane Boggs, 90 - Reedy

Maysel Marie Boggs, 90, of Reedy, West Virginia, died February 9, 2009, at Eagle Pointe, Parkersburg, WV.

She was born September 25, 1918, in Orma, WV, a daughter of the late John Lane and Belle Wayne Lane Barbe. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at O.J. Morrison's Department Store, Spencer, WV. She was a member of the Roane General Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the Beech Grove Church.

Maysel is survived by two daughters, Brenda K. Boggs of Parkersburg and Shirley T. Mace and her husband, Dorsey, of Riverton, Wyoming; two granddaughters, Amy Mace Farnham and her husband, Gregg, of San Diego, California, and Lisa Mace Collier and her husband, Clyde, of Nashville, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren; and her faithful companion, Allie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bliss Boggs; stepfather, Otto Barbe; four sisters, Opal Umble, Clora Sheldon, Berniece Miller and an infant; an infant brother; and a stepsister, Lela Powell.

A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Fairview Cemetery, Reedy, with the Rev. Calvin McCutcheon officiating. Visiting hours will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer.
