"NO ONE YOU KNOW" PLAYS TO PACKED BEAR FORK AUDIENCE

(02/17/2009)

One of West Virginia's up and coming bluegrass bands packed the Bear Fork Trading Post Saturday night.

"No One You Know" band members come from all over the Mountain State, each bring a unique genre of play to the performance.

Don Anderson, originally from Jackson County, resides in Clarksburg and sings lead and plays the bass and hosts a bluegrass radio show "On the Road with Don Anderson" on 104.9 WPDX. The Sunday evening broadcast showcases both professional and local Bluegrass bands.

Ramie Bennett, most recently a member of "Buck and Company," lives in Mill Creek and plays the banjo, and sings both lead and harmony vocals. His style of banjo picking will leave you on the edge of your seat.

Lance Gainer from Williamstown supplies both guitar and vocals to the band. His guitar picking abilities are in a range of their own.

Bruce Jones, a native to Calhoun County, now lives in Kingwood, is a member of another Bluegrass band "Whittaker Station." Bruce plays the resophonic guitar with the band, but is capable of picking many others.

Rachel Burge, the bands "leading lady" was raised in Summersville, and currently calls Procious in Clay County her home. Rachel is a graduate of Glenville State University and holds a degree in Music Education.

She also plays with the popular band band "Mountain Fury."
