CANCER SURVIVORS RECOGNIZED AT SPECIAL DINNER

Harriet Dial welcomes cancer survivors to a special dinner in their honor The 4th annual All-Cancer Survivor Dinner drew a record number last night at the Calhoun County Committee on Aging. The guest speaker for the event was cancer survivor Jennifer Propst-Miller. Special speaker Jennifer Propst Miller Harriet Dial, of the West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program [WV BCCSP] and Shelli May of the American Cancer Society made presentations. While Barb McKown of Minnie Hamilton Health System recognized cancer survivors, special recognition was given Clarence West of Spencer, a cancer survivor for 33 years and Sally Hashman of Mt. Zion, a cancer survivor for 32 years.
