HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FOR REGION

High wind watch remains in effect from Wednesday afternoon through late Wednesday night. A strong cold front accompanied by gusty showers and thunderstorms will sweep across the area Wednesday afternoon. Along and behind this front strong winds are expected as colder air works back into the region. Wind gusts may exceed 60 mph at times Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night. Power outages will be possible as well as downed tree limbs.
