KERBY STILL IN COMA - Calhoun Youth Injured In Nashville

Eighteen-year-old Everett "Nicky" Kerby remains in a coma in Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee after suffering injuries in an auto accident Friday. Kerby, a resident of Barnes Run, was enrolled in diesel school in Nashville.

Kerby's parents reported "He is holding his own."

The driver of the auto was killed instantly, with Kerby suffering severe head trauma, a broken shoulder and collarbone, punctured lung, ruptured spleen, in addition to other injuries.
