RALEIGH BANK ROBBED - A Fayette County man robbed the Chase Bank in Beaver.

Gary Kincaid, 57, of Minden, entered the Chase Bank in Beaver and threatened the tellers, said Sgt. Larry Lilly of the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department. Two tellers gave him money and Kincaid fled.

His vehicle was stopped minutes later by police, and Kincaid pointed a loaded handgun at a State Police trooper, Lilly said.

U.S. 19 in Beaver was closed for a couple of hours while police confirmed that Kincaid did not have a bomb, a threat he made toward the tellers.

Kincaid was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, wanton endangerment, grand larceny and using a hoax bomb in the commission of a felony.

CHARLES TOWN BANK ROBBED - Police are looking for a suspect who robbed Charles Town's Jefferson Security Bank early Tuesday afternoon.

According to Jefferson County Sheriff Robert "Bobby" Shirley, the suspect entered the bank at 873 Washington St. at 1:03 p.m. from a back entrance and handed a teller a note stating "This is a robbery."

After demanding an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled.

The man's face was caught on video surveillance cameras inside the bank.

A still photograph taken from the surveillance footage was released to the media Tuesday afternoon.

BANK ROBBER CAUGHT - Lincoln and Boone county authorities arrested a man for allegedly robbing a bank in Alum Creek on Wednesday.

According to a Lincoln County emergency dispatcher, the Alum Creek Community Trust Bank was robbed about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The man fled in a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. Officers from Lincoln and Boone counties chased the alleged bank robber north on U.S. 119.

Adam Dwaynne Ferrell, 31, allegedly robbed the bank, and is now in jail.
