Clinton O. Taylor, 83 of Spencer, WV, died January 5, 2002, in Eldercare of West Virginia,
Ripley, after an extended illness.
He was born September 19, 1918 in Spencer, a son of the late Thomas and Ella Walker Taylor.
He was a retired farmer and U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Ollie Taylor of Colfax, WV, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Arizona Taylor; six brothers,
Lewis, Hoy, Ray, John, James and Guy Taylor; four sisters, Madge Taylor, Dorothy Mowery,
Beulah Greathouse and Leah Taylor.
A private funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 7 at 1 p.m. at the John H.
Taylor Funeral Home of Spencer, with the Reverend Leon B. Strickland officiating. Burial
will be in the Hodam Chapel Cemetery, Spencer. There will be no visitation. |
