BUCKHANNON WOMAN MURDERED - Rebekah Gibson, 20, was found dead in the front passenger seat of a car in Buckhannon early Wednesday, according to Buckhannon police.

Gibson had cuts on her head, face and neck.

The crime occurred in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Buckhannon.

Ridge Lee Huffman, 18, (pictured left) was arrested and charged with first degree murder.

HARTS MAN ARRESTED - Richard Clayton Spencer, 33, of Harts, Lincoln County, was arrested by the West Virginia State Police for wanton endangerment, brandishing a weapon, grand larceny, assault by threats, domestic assault, domestic battery, leaving the scene of an accident (twice) and destruction of property.

Police say he pointed a pistol at one guy and fired it, and also tried to hit somebody else with a mini-van. Then he stole another man's vehicle and wrecked it and fled.

A second victim reported Spencer threatened her and physically assaulted her when he grabbed her hands and arms in order to restrain her and take her car keys.

Spencer's vehicle collided with the house of one victim and the vehicle of another victim and then he left the scene. The accused then stole the vehicle of another victim.

HUNTINGTON STATION OWNER SHOT - A Huntington service station owner told media he feels lucky to be alive after being shot at Monday night through the windows of his Sunoco station.

Abe Eklorizazi told WSAZ-TV he believes a drug dealer he kicked out earlier in the evening came back to kill him.

Two shots were fired through the plate glass. One bullet went through the computer monitor, and Eklorizazi believes that's what grazed his side.

A drug problem with frequent crime has been rising in the neighborhood.
