CALHOUN AGENCIES TEAM TO PROVIDE CHRISTMAS SERVICES - New Year Long Project

Submitted by Barb McKown Calhoun County Family Resource Network (FRN) and Community Resources Inc. (CRI) have partnered to form Calhoun Christmas Connections (CCC). CCC is a year-long project that will replace the existing Angel Tree program in Calhoun County. Starting now, CCC is accepting donations of new toys, books, scarves, gloves and mittens. The items will be divided into age groups up to age 18. In December 2009, the CCC will host a toy and food give-away for eligible participants. Please watch for upcoming toy and food drives. The CCC is comprised of individuals and businesses from all over Calhoun County and is currently seeking members to serve on the committee. The next committee meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 3 at the FRN office in Grantsville.
