| Lorna B. Truman, 81, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Monday, January 12, 2009, in Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after an extended illness.
She was born April 25, 1927 in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Walter Lee and Loci Idona Iceman Siers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Roscoe Middleton, Sr.; one son, Donald Roscoe Middleton, Jr.; one daughter, Shirley Mae Brightwell; four brothers, Glen, Paul, Randall and Willard Siers; one sister, Loris Gallagher.
She was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Prudence Chapel United Methodist Church, Minnora.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna R. Hamrick of Spencer; two sons, Rickey Dale Middleton of South Carolina and James Marvin Middleton of Mt. Dora, Florida; two sisters, Janice Parsons of Massillon, Ohio and Lena Nutter of Alliance, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 15 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Prudence Chapel Cemetery, Minnora.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
