(01/15/2009)
West Virginia Division of Highways announces that beginning Wednesday, January 14, 2009, Calhoun County Route 20 (Beech) will be closed for slip repair, according to George Shinsky, District Three Construction Engineer.

Calhoun County Route 20, Beech Rd., will be closed, 0.60 miles north of the junction with Calhoun County Route 15, White Oak Rd., each day from 7:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. for approximately one week to allow Bilco, the contractor for this project, to complete piling operations.

Motorists will be required to use alternate routes during this time, but the road will be reopened to traffic each evening at the conclusion of the work day.

Upon completion of the piling operations, crews will remain in the area for approximately another three weeks for the installation of guardrail and roadway repairs.

The roadway will be accessible to motorists during this time, but controlled by flagging personnel.

Motorists may experience delays.

Please be advised that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the slip repair schedule.
