POLICE DETERMINING POSSIBLE ROBBERY CONNECTION - Calhoun And Kanawha County Stores Hit

Police are determining whether a Cabin Creek, Kanawha County hold-up is connected to a robbery at the Speedy Mart convenience store in Arnoldsburg early Sunday morning.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department said two men entered the Econo-Truck gas station about 8:30 p.m. Sunday and held-up the attendant at gunpoint.

One man pointed a gun at the attendant and asked for cash, after which the two men fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

A single hold-up man dressed in camouflage entered Speedy Mart early Sunday morning. The robber using a gun demanded cash from the register, and then fled in a blue Geo Tracker.

Another incident occurred earlier at Go-Mart in Spencer, where the party drove away without paying for gas.
