A Grantsville man died suddenly at Big Bend early New Year's Day. Derrick
Shelley, 27, was rushed to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center after he was
discovered unresponsive on a couch. The man had reportedly been attending
a New Year's Eve party. Calhoun EMS declared a "full code" on the man and initiated resuscitation, which continued for some time at the hospital. Calhoun EMS and Trooper Hunt responded to a call for assistance about 2:40 a.m. Tuesday morning. The body is at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville, where funeral arrangements are to be completed. |
