THE WORLD FROM DOTTIE HERSMAN SLIDER'S PORCH 2008 One of our shining stars, Hur resident Dottie Hersman Slider, left us in 2008, moving beyond the universe she photographed from her front porch at Hur, the photos used on a calendar issued by her employer Calhoun Banks She was a noble woman whose presence graced the Calhoun Community. Her husband Lewis Slider has now died.
