Cleo Yeager, 83 - Troy

Cleo Yeager, age 83, of Troy, West Virginia departed this life at 6:20 a.m., Monday, December 15, 2008, in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, Weston, following an extended illness.

Born August 12, 1925, in Gilmer County, she was the daughter of the late George and Locie Duelley Yeager.

In 1942, Cleo was married to Ervin Yeager, her husband of 66 years, who survives at their Troy home.

Surviving are six sons and six daughters: Robert Yeager and wife, Lola, of Weston; Charles Yeager, of Troy; Roger Yeager, of OH; Reggie Yeager, of Fort Ashbey; Lee Yeager and wife, Shirley, of Stouts Mills; Lane Yeager and wife, Mary, of Jane Lew; Judy Fisher and husband, Bruce, of Weston; Annette Ledbetter and husband, Charlie, of OH; Wanda Yeager, of Fairmont; Connie Tinney and husband, Ralph, of Fairmont; Brenda Thompson and husband, Ronnie, of Stouts Mills; and Patty Stump and husband, Jimmy, of Stouts Mills. Four sisters survive: Lee, Jen, Genevieve, and Dorothy.

Cleo was preceded in death by two sons, Steven and Dwayne Yeager, and two grandsons, David Taylor and Bruce Chadwick Fisher, and one sister.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2008, at Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., Glenville, with Preacher Phil Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Yeager-Taylor Cemetery on Dusk Camp.

Friends may call from 11-1 p.m. Saturday at the Mortuary.
