BRAXTON DEPUTIES ARREST MAN AFTER HIGH SPEED CHASE

The Braxton County Sheriff's Department has arrested a man following a high speed chase that ended in Lewis County. Sheriff's deputies have charged Hoy Young, 51 of Sutton, with third offense DUI, fleeing while DUI and driving while suspended or revoked for DUI. Young led deputies on a chase that started on U.S. Route 19 in Braxton County and ending on Interstate 79 in Lewis County. The Lewis County Sheriff's Department helped stop Young. Lewis deputies said they had to force Young off the road at the off ramp at the Roanoke exit on I-79. Young is being held in Central Regional Jail.
