HIGHWAY DEPT. SAYS COLE FK. RD. CLOSED FOR REPAIR

Calhoun County, WV - West Virginia Division of Highways announces the planned closure of Calhoun County Route 2/6, Cole Fork Rd., beginning on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 for a culvert installation, according to Dave Brabham, District Three Maintenance Engineer.

The closure on Calhoun County Route 2/6 is located at milepost 1.2, approximately one-tenth of a mile from the junction of Calhoun County Route 2/7, Two Mile Run. The roadway is expected to be closed between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday to allow Heavy Maintenance crews to install a culvert, weather permitting.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area and should plan an alternate route if possible.

Please be advised that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the work schedule.
