The Grantsville Police Department has released their law enforcement activity record for the month of November, 2008. 30 Calls for service 42 Citizen contacts 2 Criminal investigations 1 Traffic crash investigation 0 City Ordinance Violations 1 Parking citation Traffic Stops - 18 warnings; 3 citations 1 Arrest - Permitting DUI (State Police Warrant) The Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Highway Safety Program has renewed grant monies for DUI patrols from October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2009. Monies are utilized as overtime funds for officers conducting saturation patrols targeting impaired drivers.
