John Edward Moss, 62 - Spencer

John Edward Moss, 62, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Sunday, November 30, 2008, in the CAMC-General Hospital, Charleston.

He was born November 12, 1946, at Gassaway, WV, a son of the late Francis Franklin and Mabel Lee Ellison Moss. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Isa Jean James.

John was a retired employee of Daimler-Chrysler, Streetsboro, Ohio and a member of the UAW.

Survivors include his wife, Helen M. Moss of Spencer; children, Melinda Lee Rodriguez of Spencer, Shannon Anne Paxton of Mt. Alto, WV, John Dwayne Moss also of Spencer, Joshua Bradfield and Jacob Bradfield both of Warren, OH; four brothers, Jimmy Darrell Moss and Herman Dale Moss both of Elyria, OH, Jerry F. Moss of Arizona and Franklin D. Moss of Gassaway; four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 4 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. John Price officiating. Burial will be in the Orma Cemetery, Orma.

Friends may call Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
