PERSON SHOT OUTSIDE WALTON STORE

A shooting outside of a store near Walton in Roane County last night at 11 p.m. sent one person to the hospital by helicopter. The incident happened just off of Route 119 at the Ambler Ridge Road, between Walton and Clendenin. Huffman's Store was the site of the incident. The store has been the scene of trouble before, with hold-ups. Details surrounding how the shooting happened are not being released.
