Therman Varney "Slim" Kellar, 74 - Salem, WV

Therman Varney "Slim" Kellar, 74, of Salem WV, formerly of Calhoun and Marietta OH, died November 26, 2008. He was born June 27, 1934 in Grantsville, son of the late John Wade and Lora Mae Richards Kellar. He was a retired construction worker and a veteran of US Air Force and US Army. Survivors include daughter, Barbara Helen Evans of Spring TX, Lora Ann Kellar of Salem WV; son Therman Wade Kellar of Mobile AL; sister, Virginia Kellar Bennett of Devola OH, Rosalie Kellar Bennett Rae of Marietta OH. Preceded in death by the mother of his children, Lila Mae Koon Kellar Nayedo. Also preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Richard and David Kellar; sisters, Laura Kellar, Hazel Kellar Kendall; and second wife, Pearl Nichols Kellar. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m., November 29, at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville, with visitation two hours prior the funeral. Burial will be in Hunt Cemetery.
