SHOOTING AT FORMER SHERIFF'S HOME - The State Police are investigating a possible shooting at the home of a former Randolph County sheriff.

They say Paul Smith was doing construction work on former Sheriff Paul Brady Jr.'s home last Friday.

Smith suffered some kind of injury to his head and was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

The police say doctors could not determine the exact cause of Smith's injury.

They say a bullet could have grazed his head, but that Smith says he never heard a gunshot.

HUNTINGTON PIZZA MAN HELD UP - A pizza delivery man had quite a scare Saturday night when he was robbed at gunpoint. Dispatchers say two men put a gun to the delivery guy's head and got away with cash.

The worker is employed by Monty's Pizza. So far, officers have not made any arrests.

LOGAN SHOOTING - A Kistler man has been arrested by local deputies following a shooting incident.

Ricky Clark, 35, of Kistler, was arrested by deputies and charged with wanton endangerment, assault and shooting across the road.

The victim told officers that Clark "had fired two shots at him and one shot had entered his residence through a window."

The accused lived across the street. The defendant admitted to firing to separate shots in the direction of the victim's house.
