Ottie Dolan Smith, 91, of Newton, WV, died December 17, 2001. Survivors include three sons, James Dolan, Kenneth 'Gene' Dolan and Stephen Smith; one daughter, Linda Ferrell; one stepdaughter, Marion Harold; and 14 grandchildren. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Phoebe Tingler Tinney; her first husband, L. Kenneth Dolan; and her second husband, Rex. H Smith. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, at Newton United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Laurel Point Cemetery of Newton. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. John H. Taylor Funeral Home of Spencer, WV is in charge of arrangements.
