Jack Lee Miller, 67, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at his home with his family after an extended illness. He was born March 22, 1941 in Spencer, a son of the late Milford S. and Pauline Miller. He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum and loved to fish and hunt. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elsie Wyatt Miller; one daughter, Melody McCroskey of Spencer; two sons, Jerry Miller of Mason County, WV, and Leonard Miller and his wife Chris of Spencer; three grandchildren, Alex Miller of Victor, WV, and Courtney and Ashton Miller of Spencer; two great grandchildren, Elina and Alex Miller, II of Victor; six sisters, Pauline Lawson, Madeline Fouty and Sue McKown all of Spencer, Phyllis Milhoan of Reedy, WV, Melinda Jones of Cross Lanes, WV, and Debra Marks of Millstone, WV; one half sister, Ruth Starcher of Calhoun County, WV; and six brothers, Phil, Bob, Bill, Larry, and Tom Miller all of Spencer, and Curtis Miller of Reedy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Milford Miller, Jr., and four sisters, Shirley Ann Starcher, Mildred Ash and infants, Jennifer and Janice Miller. Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer with Rev. Larry Greathouse officiating. Burial will be in the Craig Hill Cemetery, Spencer. Visiting hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
