ELKINS ARMED ROBBERY - Elkins City Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Tuesday morning at the Speedway convenience store.

An undetermined amount of money was taken. Police are looking for a white man standing 5 foot 10 wearing a green shirt, dark blue pants and dark colored tennis shoes. He was carrying a handgun.

NIGHT CLUB SHOOTING - A person was shot late Friday night at a night club in Putnam County.

Police say the shooting happened at Sneekers Nightclub in Teays Valley just before midnight.

Police have arrested Michael Messer. He was being held down by patrons of the bar, who had also taken a .38 revolver from him.

Jerry McCallister was shot once in the abdomen and identified Messer as the shooter.

Messer sustained injuries from the patrons of the bar.

Both McCallister and Messer were taken to CAMC General Hospital.

McCallister has undergone surgery.

SHOOTING AT FRANK'S BAR - Marion County Sheriff's Department is looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at Frank's Bar just outside of Fairmont.

The Sheriff's Department says a man came into the bar with a gun and demanded money.

The suspect made the clerk open the safe and then locked her in the bathroom, getting away with the money.

HOME INVASION - Police are seeking the identity of two suspects who held a woman at gunpoint and tied her up during a home invasion robbery in Berkeley County.

Investigators were able to recover evidence from the scene of the robbery as well as a physical description of the robbers from the victim.

The homeowner told police that a white male suspect knocked on her door and asked to use a phone because he claimed his car had broken down. He, along with the black male suspect, then forced their way into the house.

The victim said the men held her at gunpoint and eventually tied her up with a utility cord. The suspects then proceeded to search the house for valuables.

The men fled the house after stealing jewelry and money. The victim told police she believed the robbers left in a Cadillac passenger car with a West Virginia license plate.

CABELL ARMED ROBBERY - The Cabell County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store near Barboursville.

Two men held up the Little General Store on Davis Creek Road around 5:30 Tuesday morning.

Deputies say the suspects followed the manager into the store as she was opening for business. They then forced her into the freezer where they physically assaulted her.

The manager called police after the men left the store.
