Calhoun Family Resource Network sponsored the first Community Baby Shower on Saturday, October 25th at Calhoun Middle-High School.

The shower was for expectant parents and parents of children up to 2 years of age. There were ten vendor tables set up with lots of give-aways for the parents.

Brett Pickens and Dave Bussey from the Wood County Sheriff's Department along with Toni Tiano from Region 6 Highway Safety Program conducted a car seat check for all participants.

Seven convertible car seats and six booster seats were distributed during the car seat check.
