It's just wonderful that the sweet October skies are lapping over into November. This weather is great, however the woolly worms are solid black and I fear it's going to be a bad one.

Enjoying having Heather and the girls, Ruby and Lea here with me for a few days visit. We enjoyed supper and a special apple crumble that Heather made.

Went out to see the pigs which are fastened up and being fed ready for the kill. They are getting big and can stick their heads out of the window area and just seem to be really happy when someone goes out to feed them. They sure can be loud.

Blaine King stopped by for a visit. He's doing well and keeping up with doctors appointments in Sutton. He brings the cats a special treat and they know when his car pulls into to driveway.

Buddy Watkins gave us persimmons. Bet it would be hard to make a pie out of those little things. It took a lot of paw paws to make that pie that was really good. Buddy sure knows a lot about nature and where all the good stuff is. We like him.

Glen Siers and Wanda Richards visited, I cut Wanda's bangs. It's always good to see them and they're doing well.

A friend shot at a squirrel and it run up a tree into to a hole with just its tail sticking out and we thought it was dead. Then it turned around and with its head out and not moving. After a long while it came out of the hole and just ran up the tree. Guess he was shocked for a while. I took a picture of it. Never seen anything like that.

I have a blue million black walnuts here and wish that cousin Val from Ohio would just come down here and get them. It would be good to see her and John and hope that they're doing well.

Walked along the creek the over day and it is sad the amount of tires that lay there. Water is low and they really show. Wish that these creeks were the way they use to be. But guess it's not going to happen.

I am grateful to a friend that gave me a nice Singer sewing machine as mine has worn out. Good things happen went you need it. Thanks Mary.

Everyone have a wonderful week!
