EARLY VOTING SETTING RECORDS - Saturday Last Day

(11/01/2008)
West Virginians are going to the polls in droves, creating an early voting record.

By Friday, nearly 122,000 state residents had cast ballots in West Virginia's 55 counties, or 10% of the state's eligible voters.

Early voting ends today, in Calhoun in the County Clerk's office.

Well over 500 Calhoun voters have already voted.

Thousands of WV voters have also requested absentee ballots.

This year will likely be a big turnout at the polls.
