The annual Hometown Country Christmas event at the Calhoun County Court House was launched Monday and will continue through Friday evening.

"We have a number of booths with a large variety of crafts and other items," said coordinator Melissa Falls.

The event will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. December 1-4.

The Court House will be open later on December 5, the day of the Christmas Parade at 6 p.m. and the arrival of Santa Claus.

Hometown Country Christmas is a great place to find the perfect Christmas gift for family and friends, everything from baskets, jewelry, bags and soap to candles, money trees, candy and dolls.
