Elliott Camden "Bud" Noel, 69, of Mendon, Ohio, died Monday, October 20, 2008, in Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, Ohio. He was born July 15, 1939, at Walton, Roane County, a son of the late Otis and Lucy Brown Noel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers, Everett, Harley, Jennings, Dannel, Roy, Eugene, Herbert and Doyle Noel; four sisters, Icy Mullens, Ivy Schoolcraft, Fay Kelly and Thelma Detamore; also, one infant sibling. Bud was a 1957 graduate of Walton High School and a retired parts manager for Valley Ford Truck, Cleveland, Ohio. Survivors include his wife, whom he married December 28, 2001, Patricia Winget Noel; two sons, Robert Noel of Brook Park, Ohio and Joel Noel of Ohio; two daughters, Debbie King of Brunswick, Ohio and Heather Pasek of Brook Park, Ohio; two stepsons, Dale Shively, Jr. of Middlebury, Ind. and Robert Shively of Celina, Ohio; three stepdaughters, Patricia Wood of Ft. Recovery, Ohio, Melanie Thomas and Vicki Taram both of Celina, Ohio; one sister, Alsie Fields of Parkersburg; 19 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A Prayer Service was held Thursday, October 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mercer County Fairgrounds Community Building, Celina, Ohio, with the Rev. Rick Brosher and Harold Lunsford officiating. W.H. Dick and Sons - Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, Ohio was in charge of arrangements.
